The Movement
About 2,000 years ago, God came down in the form of a human, Jesus Christ, to live amongst His creation. He came in love, in mercy, and in grace, to set mankind free from the chains of sin and bring us back to Him. Arguably one of the most discussed events in the history of the world, entire forests have been cut down in seeking to understand who Jesus was, how He lived, why Jesus was crucified, and the implications His resurrection have for human kind. Through the testimony of billions of positively changed lives and the truth of Jesus's resurrection, His story lives on to this day.
Although movies have only existed for little over a 100 years, stories retold by word of mouth and the written word have existed for much longer. In an effort to recapture the comedy and drama of our past, these stories have been retold in the form of a motion-picture movie. A two-hour audio-visual masterpiece that appeals to the senses like no art form quite does. Movies have the ability to touch the soul in a deeply profound way when made correctly.
Though history has been partially retold through these motion picture narratives, it is not until recently, with the development of special effect technology, that film makers have been able to approach the stories of the bible in hopes of even beginning to capture the miracles depicted therein. It is because of these strides in modern technology that we will be able to give a glimpse into the intense spiritual events surrounding the greatest story ever told: The Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Resurrection Project is the broader movement that will use the vehicle of the movie to unite believers and non-believers alike around the world to display. In addition, TRP will also consist of an expansive Ambassador Program, as well as a game featured around the movie.
Perhaps the most exciting part of this all, is we are providing a barrier of entry to participate in this movement that is accessible to just about anyone. Whether you become an Ambassador, Spiritual Producer, or Special Partner, there are multiple paths which are designed to give you direct access to participating in the movement. We invite you, however you are called to, to step up and express your desire to become a part of the movement.
Ultimately, this project is God's; through His direction, purpose, timing, and will, this movement will continue to flourish. We aim to obey God in all that we do in this project, sharing His love and encouragement that will be the corner stone of this project and its message. We believe that it is God's desire that anyone who wants to should participate in the building of this movement, whether a believer or not, this is about His sacrifice and love.
